I can definitely see shades of Heisenberg in Carrie with her emotional unhinged rants and her sly manipulations and her twisted truths. That said Carrie is still the main character I root for and sympathize with. Brody? Well, the one thing I struggle with when it comes to Homeland is I don't like Brody. I don't know if it's the actor or the bait&switch way they've written his character but Brody just leaves me cold. I should sympathize with him, but then the show has focused so much on the "don't trust Brody" aspect. And so, yeah...I don't trust Brody one little bit. And it's hard to invest in a character you don't trust. The Carrie/Brody relationship is well crafted and fascinating but I only really feel involved in that relationship through Carrie's emotions whereas with Walt/Jesse I feel an equal investment and emotional understanding ( ... )

Finn's death, if it happens, will be even more pointless than Walker's; he isn't old enough to be anybody's intelligence asset, and as such his tombstone might as well read "I killed someone's mother because I'm a reckless teenager. I then became collateral damage in some terrorist's vendetta against my dad."

What a way to go. -_-

I hope Dana will try and do the right thing somehow. One thing that the Harry Potter fandom stresses is the difference between doing what's right and what's easy. Dana doing what's right could put her family through turmoil, so will she choose to do what's easy as well?

Carrie as Heisenberg would have been an amazing thing in Breaking Bad. She has the kind of fearsome intensity (her expressions remind me almost of a very hyperalert bird of prey) that would have driven her to find ways to browbeat, blackmail, coerce and prod everyone around her to do her will.

And my brain suddenly wants to write a crossover! :D
