Can anyone name ANYWHERE, where I can get my fiction hosted, or 'advertised' or even any free webpages (including crappy ones. Is Geocities free? I don't know what I'm really talking about, so please help me out and reply with some. Apart from hanfic.com. Thanks.

Check out Various Artists' (http://hansonfiction.com/links) forum! There is a lot of different types of information there. And it's a fairly good place to do some advertising.

I have a website up now (it's not very good, but it's a start), and I'm not completely sure what the difference is between getting hosted and archived. Is 'archived' just having your work up on a site with others work?

Yea, basically. A host gives you webspace of your own..that you can do whatever you want with. An archive puts your stories up with a bunch of others. It's like a one stop shop, and we're still trying to get ours up and running. So even though you now have a website, if you still want to be archived, you should definitely let me know! =)
