...and there was much destruction.

This is obviously just a spur of the moment idea...
Eventually you'll have to get your own icons and save them on your computer.
It's really simple once you know what you are doing.

Yeah, yeah I realize it's been over a fortnight since I last took the opportunity to update my journal. I should have known I'd grow lakidasical given my schedule and such. But here's a quick wrap on the goings on. My mother's co-workers threw a surprise retirement party on Sunday evening. Granted her retirement wasn't a planned event, but believe

One of my best friends has mailed me twice this week now that he is situated in Mosul, Iraq. He's a Captain and to the best of my knowledge has 60 guys that report to him. He mentioned in his letters about how each day they come under mortar fire. Also, when on patrol, there's the chance of running over IEDs or taking small arms fire. He finished

Argh, only 2:41pm on a dreary Thursday. Long night ahead with Auditing looming on the horizon. I declined to go out for the customary drink with Artie this evening because I am quite exhausted. Kind of a lack of sleep, a few bad dreams, and a rigorous schedule of house maintenance. I think the wedding of last week also threw my biorythyms off since

While looking through my school files, I came across this poem *which is one of three* I wrote for a gf while she was studying abroad. I think this is circa 1997. Just thought I'd share since this is my place to shine :-P. I believe I was melancholy at the time since it's not the happiest of offerings

Just when you thought it was safe to leave the house, the weather drops down into the 40s. I've been fretting about the amount of work yet to be done to winterize the friendly confines. The Lumina, as good as it is, needs an inspection as well some diagnostics on the tranny fluid leak. I know it equates to my wallet suffering however it still

Hard to believe that yet another weekend has come to an end. The last few weeks are nothing but a blur at this point. This class I am enrolled in is way more work than I ever anticipated. It's actually taking up a good bit of my time during the regular work week. I think I if I still had a roommate, I'd never catch up on all of the required

Is it just me, or are others' allergies kicking back up? Damn, I've felt crap all day from them. Anywho, so much to do this week. What I wouldn't give for a day off tomorrow. Now that the house is empty, I can finally finish up all the random tasks I've procrastinated on. I did continuee to clean the carpets as well as empty the dining room. It

If my mind wasn't rattled from continual auditing homework I'd have something worthwhile to write this evening. Today was quite mundane actually. Same work, same co-workers, same co-workers bitching...this was my life :). Went to the gym this evening but man oh man am I still suffering a power outtage. I wonder if it's related to the fact I drink

Since I've not much to say at the moment, I'll just use this as a free post. That's right, I'm a post whore.
