What NOT to do if you're a baby band. or just a band.

So I'm putting on a show at Soma, and I'm kinda nervous about it, because these are bands that don't normally play there, but want to, so we have to prove to Soma that they can draw all-ages. It will be metal-ish. And I'm trying to throw at least a couple bands that I know will draw all-ages, so pretty much younger, high school metal bands. One

ps. even if the other bands do suck (which i have no opinion having never heard them), that's not a way to talk about bands in your home town.

yeah. agreed. there's a lot to be said for professionalism.

(honestly, I'm not up on maybe 3 of those bands)

But I WILL say that with Slewfoot getting a new singer, they are 3452870327887 times better than before. And in that scene, Downspell is pretty big and well looked upon, forget what their myspace shows (I think they have like 4000 friends, but the scene shows differently)
