I have Thoughts on Anthony Bourdain's 4/1 thing at the Paramount (beyond, "oh my god that was awesome and did he really make a Two Girls One Cup joke?"), and I have more thoughts on the new Doctor Who (beyond "PURE JOY OMFG and by the way Murray Gold has used up the last bit of slack I was willing to cut him ever") and I'll post those later this

This is exactly why I dropped any ambitions I had of writing novels a long time ago. The time and creativity hits were simply not something I was willing to do and I decided I was OK with that.

It might be worth taking a look at the first half of No Plot, No Problem!, which talks about goal setting and getting disciplined without losing your sanity.

Yay! I think you absolutely should go after this idea. And personally, having much the same problems, I'd be really tempted to join you in such a non-Nano project.
