1. How about a brief introduction of yourself?
I always fail to come up with anything remotely interesting to say. Anyways I'm soon 12 21 and living in Northern Finland. I love writing (even if I'm having the worst writer's block atm) and listening to music and travelling. I like my computer more than most peopleI know . I'm still a kid inside and I never want to grow up.
2. Fabulous! And what got you into fanfiction to begin with?
Harry Potter fandom was my first real crush. H/D is still one of my OTP's. IT'S CANON YOU GUYS.
3. I see, so what kind of fanfiction do you like to read/write?
Pretty much anything if it's well written. I really don't like mpreg or characters being too OOC unless it's crack or something like that. I actually like all genres pretty much equally but smut always makes my day. I write mostly humour as my attemps at angst and serious stuff never work out. The Steps of Recovery was supposed to be really angsty (well duh it's about addiction) but somehow it ended up being a lot lighter than I planned it to be.
4. Do you tend to read the same characters/pairings? Or are you a fandom whore?
I'm a total fandom whore. Not only I read fics from different fandoms I have a lot of OTP's.
5. What is your most popular/favorite fanfic? Why do you think people/you like it?
Eh not quite sure. I think it might be my Onkey fic, the mess called SHinee. I suck at titles I know /hides. Or maybe the online conversation fic, not sure which one got more comments. I suppose people like the way my fics are sort of easy to read, definitely not challenging ones. And people seem to have as bad sense of a humour as I do :D
6. What is the fanfic that you´ve written that you´re most proud of? (For readers: What is the fanfic you love but are too ashamed of to admit that you like it?)
ASdsdsdsdsdsdsd shit son. I'm not really that proud of my fics because I still feel like I'm totally lacking in writing. I'm quite proud that I've managed to write a long story like Steps of recovery and I think Jjong's chapter is my favourite one. The online convo fic is not really that great but it actually turned out as I wished which is really rare.
7. Do you find writing/reading hard? What are the aspects you struggle with most?
Mostly yes. I write in English which is not my first language so I'm struggling with words. I don't usually have big problems with grammar or tenses or stuff like that but I never manage to find the right words. I keep using the same expressions over and over again. Also I hate it how I'm really bad at creating a certain mood in my fics, I'm terrible at describing things. I just go straight to the point and use humour to hide the fact I can't write.
Sometimes when I get into the flow writing can be the best thing ever.
8. Could you share a few sentences about your favorite pairing or character? Why is it your favorite?
H/D obviously because it's canon and they are made for each other, ice and fire and all that shit. I ship Jongkey in real life but somehow I like reading/writing Onkey more. Why? I wouldn't know. And Jongho YES YES YES they just ft together which makes it perfect. And 2min because well just look at them.
9. Are there any fanfiction trends/clichés you can´t stand and are sick of?
I just couldn't stand it when they revealed that Jjong was dating and then suddenly lj was full of angsty broken!jongkey and argh. Yeah I just stop here. There are a lot of cliches I don't like but it'd take whole night to list them all. Just to mention one: Draco is an ass, that's a fact. Don't write him to be all cuddly and nice and soft inside. The reason we like Draco is because he's an arrogant, selfish little prick.
10. What was the first fandom you read/wrote for? Do you still like/participate in it?
Harry Potter. I'm almost happy most of those fics disappeared when our computer went down.
11. Name your OTPs or most frequently read/written pairings/characters and explain what it is you love
to read/write about them.
I haven't wrote so many SHINee fics I could say I really have one pairing I write the most but I suppose it would be Onkey. ATM I read mostly Jongho and Ontae and try desperately to find good Taekey and Daetop and G-Ri. I don't really care about the pairings if it's written well.
12. What would you call your 'writing' style? (If you are a reader: What´s your favorite writing style to read?)
As said earlier it's easy to read and there's always a hint of humour in my stories (even if don't want to).
13. What do you find reading yourself the most?
SHINee fics at the moment.
14. Name one thing you´d LOVE to write/read but have been too shy/afraid to do?
I'd love to write Taekey but just can't bring myself to do it. AND PROPER ANGST YES PLEASE.
15. Do you have trouble receiving/giving criticism?
No but people never give me any D: I WANT SOME CRITICISM. I don't really have a problem giving it myself I'm just not ve
16. If you write is there anything that helps? Music? Quiet room? (For readers: Is there a certain ritual you celebrate when you read? Make a hot coffee and cuddle up in bed? Read during boring work hours?)
I'm always listening to some music so yeah. Other than that doesn't really matter. I have a bad habit of reading NC-17 smut in school when people are sitting close enough to see what I'm doing. It doesn't really help that I blush easily.
