I think I am slowly making friends here.  But they are a lot more social than I am.  But we also live so far away from each other.

Man, I was very spoiled living on a residential college for basically five years.

Colleges are probably the easiest place to make friends ever invented. Probably because instead of meeting places based upon accident of birth or at work, where they might be your competition, you can surround yourself with people of common interest.
