Kitchen Love
I recently acquired a beautiful red Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I've been wanting one of these for years but couldn't quite justify the enormous cost. So when I saw it in the catalogue for my credit card rewards points, I didn't hesitate. I love getting things for free.

Nov. 1: Tonight's bulk cooking -
Dinner: Chicken with Mustard Cheddar Cream Sauce over whole wheat fusilli.
Dessert: 2 dozen Pumpkin Spice muffins.
Yesterday's bulk cooking - lentil soup with mushrooms, onions and diced tomatoes in a beef broth.

Oct. 1: It just gets worse - today was a 14 hour day.
Oct. 4: I've had a very productive weekend. I made enough Chicken Korma to last for six dinners, 2 dozen Apple Spice muffins and 2 dozen Lemon Poppyseed muffins. I've promised some muffins to family and the rest are going to work with me. Yummy ( Read more... ) -

Sep. 3: My new grass is growing nicely, and it rained heavily but briefly so that I didn't have to water it. Finally the temperature was a perfect 24C. I just had a delicious dinner from a great new restaurant we've discovered. What a great start to a long summer weekend!

Aug. 2: What an exhausting day. I did 5 loads of laundry, rotated and flipped the mattresses, cut the grass, pulled weeds, cooked several meals, reviewed some work, read 3 magazines, inventoried all my floss, did some stitching and caught up on some PVR recordings. Whewhhh...

June 23: Holy crap - we just had an earthquake!!! Our entire building just shook. Don't know how big yet since the earthquakecanada web site is not responding.
