Veronica Mars: DoVe (Moonlighting Style)

I really like DoVe (Don and Veronica) pairing, so I decided to make an intro show about them. I know it's cheesy, but what the hell :)) Basically the premise of the show is their love-hate relationship like Moonlighting.

And to those of you who never heard of Moonlighting... *sobs* I feel old.

I know about Moonlighting. I watched it every Tuesday night. And I also did a mashup to it except I used Castle instead.

Veronica Mars works well with the whole investigating thing going on...

Yours is ten times better than mine :) I don't have a video editing talent nor I have good program to do it. I used a simple WMM (yes... shocking). Your videos are awesome, and I love the old mash-up ones. Hopefully I can make more vids with better program. But I only do it just for fun. Please check out my other videos and maybe you can gimme some tips or something, thx.

ps: what program did you use to make this vid? i'm interested w/ the title thing.

Well I have become somewhat obssessive with my mash-ups. But as I've told other people, "As long as you're having fun with it then that's what counts." Not everyone needs to be as anal as I am.

I'm using Final Cut Pro and Photoshop on a Mac. So only general techniques would be of help.

That whole title sequence was build from a huge Photoshop file which was 480 pixels high by whatever width I needed to spell out NIKKI HEAT. Then I made two separate files each with different letters, (N K I E T & I K H A). I set the opacity to 40% and started them on opposite sides of the screens and made them slowly travel toward each other. Then they shrank to the center of the screen.
