first nugs.net sucks cause they use mp3s. second if you're going to talk live recordings you have to ask me. thirs the best disks are the transfusion radio broadcast by the disco biscuits, and i do not mean necessarily music wise, but yes sound quality (even though they are the best music wise too, well close).

ps- central park sucks they re-recorded many parts including all the violin solo's in the studio and matrixed them. cause their mix sucks live.

ryan is right, nugs is only good to stream music from, not to download. you need to go to etree.org and sign up to a music tree. the SHN or shorten files that they deal in are lossless, in brief meaning they have better sound. but to recording ever prob ahs to go to phish at big cypress. nothing of that magnitude has ever been matched. also, miles davis at fillmore west cannot be ignored, as it is the benchmark live recording of his career, and one of the best all time.

yea jw, you got it, shn's or flac are a must, but i think big cypruss sucks. no no, i mean it's an amazing concert and great show, but i think the recordings are kinda of weak. sorry just my opinion. however i will say jayz unplugged is realy nice too as is roots comes alive, but that's not one show so it doesn't count.
