Went and got secondary pictures of Elwood and the Hampsterettes* last week.
I will be having surgery. Everything needs to be addressed, for obvious reasons. Elwood is approximately the size of a woman's fist, for reference purposes, and growing. The Hammies are varying and smaller.
So, that's the final verdict, and after scads of paperwork and blood tests and consultation like things in my near future, this thing shall be done. Elwood gets evicted, and his little hammies too. Oh, and I'll have plenty of time to update everyone on it seeing as how I'll have to take a decent amount of time off from work and I'll need something to do while I obsess on how I'm gonna get the bills paid.
I'll know the surgery date tomorrow.
I'm trying to get back on track from my weekend out of town seeing all my Rockfic folk. So good to see the long stand-bys, and meet some new folks as well. We had ourselves a hell of a good time, lots of good food, and Sharpie tattoos from my mate who is going to be a hella tattooist sooner than they might think.
Luna is steadily losing her sight, and quickly at that. I need to inquire tonight and see just what it's going to set me back to see the Opthamologist at the hospital downstairs. I'm not concerned with restoration, I just want to be assured she isn't in pain.
Pig, on the other hand, is my ball of energy. And so fucking macho, it amazes me sometimes. Like a bit ago when, after dinner, I went to put them out for their business and he took a couple of sniffs near the door and turned around and left. Yes. That's my big, bad bully dog. You see, it's raining. He doesn't go out in the rain. Like I said. Macho.
The universe seems to be unfolding in a particularly interesting pattern right now...and Elwood seems to be right on the front lines. It will be interesting to watch the upcoming events, surgery aside, because from here it doesn't look like it could be any better lined. We'll see.
First. Let's cut open my stomach...see what's inside.

*Hampsterettes. Yes. Well, my manager at the lab, aka Lizard. She thinks she's funny. She likes to envision Elwood's relatives as hampsters, in fishnets, doing the Can-Can. Which can sometimes be what it feels like when they are up to bothering me. She's mean, as you can well tell...
*laughs*
don't know why I work there.
