I'm sure everyone has those experiences that just really impact them so much and leave them reeling for ages trying to figure out if it really truly happened. Well that happened to me recently and with it I can honestly say that it couldn't have come at a better time. Lately I have been sad, sometimes for no reason and it's hard to really truly ( Read more... )

This is a beautiful report, Hannah! I can really sense the emotion from your words- it was lots of fun to read :)

It seems like you've been through a lot lately :( That really sucks that you had to cancel your first Tokyo vacation in April, that would've been so frustrating! >.< What are the chances that fade would schedule a live on the weekend?! :D It seems as if many of their lives are during the week, so that's so awesome that this live matched perfectly with your holiday- it's like fate! ^^

I'm so happy that you were able to take some time off and see fade perform live. They really seem to have that effect, don't they? xD

Was it easy to use the trains while you were in Tokyo? :)

for the first time in literally months I felt myself smiling. Not an amused smile, or a half smile or even a tired smile that everyone around me was so used to. No I literally just smiled because I was so happy. Happy to be there, happy to experience this with two amazing ladies. Just fucking happy.
I'm really happy to read this!! <3 <3 <3 The fade ( ... )

Traveling on trains in Japan is very easy if

a) you buy a pasmo card, charge it and then just walk pass the gate while the charge on the card decreases instead of buying tickets each time. Buying tickets each time can help with money awareness though and it's a great practise to learn Kanji AND to talk to nice businessmen in English who see you standing around and come over to save the poor gaijin lady *lol*

b) use google maps to map your routes and either print them or shoot a picture with your digital camera or mobile phone. You just need to follow the "colours" of the train/company at the station and then once you're at the right place, you just need to read which direction to take. JUST KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN on the electronic train table. Usually if there's some red Kanji before, the it tends to be express. You juts need to confirm if the express stops at your station *lol*

"seriously she is an amazing artist"

Ah, no no X'D I'm super basic artist, just passionate *lol*

Thank your for writing this out. Sorry that I'm terribly late reading. It's interesting to get to read it all from a side that is even more focused on yourself.

Fate (fade? :P) is with us, we'll soon meet again, and then we can hug and be glad we got this awesome chances!
