So sad, but beautifully written as ever. This is a great fic and I love the period atmosphere. Hope the real ending proves they made the right choice when Christopher made his offer.

Oh for fucks sake. I am so glad that this isn't the way this story is supposed to go. I'm sure there will beheartbreak and pain, but this is just too much for me. I hate this alternative ending 😠.
