aww! i had to get all four out... i think they were impacted (i know they had to bust two of them up to get them out), but at least for me it wasn't so bad... they put me under for it, and when they started the anesthesia the surgeon said "ok, james bond, here come the margaritas! do you want them shaken or stirred?", and i had only enough time to say "what?" before i conked out. next thing i knew, i was standing at the receptionist counter while my mom filled out a form, and then i was sitting in the car wondering who put my sweater on me (apparently i did it myself!). went home, fell asleep.

the next day my mom had my friend zenmetsu come over to babysit me, and all he did was take a nap, and all i did was try to complain to apple computer on the phone since my computer at the time was busted. as for eats, smoothies and mashed potatoes are the best ever ( ... )

Wow, of all the things I might imagine myself saying while under sedation, that would probably rank right down at the bottom of the list.

I've had one out already and it was... not pleasant. But I had to get it out at the dental school (no insurance); it might not be so bad if the surgeon actually thought of me as a person instead of a guinea pig.

I had two wisdom teeth out through one of those medical studies they run ads for in the paper. Scary I know, but dental insurance wouldn't cover their removal. Anyway, the first one they gave me some sort of medication that made me super ill BUT the second one I only had a local for the extraction and then had accupunture. No pain, no swelling, no sicknees. It was awesome!

I did the medical study for the one I had out (they'd only take out one at a time, so that you would have to come back to participate in more studies). It was pretty much a nightmare. (Weirdly, my study was about acupuncture too.)
