This is really upsetting to me. There's a point in the no-holds-barred arena that politics in this country has become where lines are crossed, and to me, this looks like a whole lot of them were. For those who don't want to read the whole article:

I love that their excuse can be summed up as "everybody does it." Wait, "love" is the wrong word. First, not they don't. Second, didn't their mothers ever say "if everybody was jumping off a cliff, would you?
Ugh.

It's pretty egregious. Can anyone wonder why people are so cynical about politics, with stuff like this being inflicted on them? I don't care which party does it--it's still reprehensible.
