Scharffen Berger Chocolates just offered me an all expenses, two-day trip to San Francisco in June, including a stay in a luxury resort spa--complete with winemaker's dinner and chocolate-based spa services--plus cooking classes during the day, and, of course, a tour of their factory and all the chocolate I can eat.

Man, having ethics sucks.

Is this a personal ethics thing, or an "I could get fired" thing? Not that it makes a difference to whether or not you should do it, I'm just curious.

Both, I guess. I mean, it's against our company's ethical guidelines. But I helped create those guidelines and enforce them, and believe in them wholeheartedly. So both.
