I don't think I knew you back in the Summer of Sub! Angelo's does an ok one, but no crusty bread :< . I bet you do better down in the Harbor. And how anyone thinks you can substitute hots for pepperoncini, I don't understand. Chez Papa's? The grocer in L'il Italy?

Papa's is closed, alas! There are some good subs in L.I.; Rosina's in Canton is also worth a mention.
