sooo I have a draftmaster II up and running now ^_^ the idea is to use it to cut vinyl stickers for a glass shop I'm doing business with so yay free stickers :P

I'm not experienced with CAD yet but here's what I got after two days of poking at hardware and software.

oh yea it prints 4 foot by 500 feet, 8.5 by 11 or anywhere between

it's a pen plotter so what ever color my pens are it will do. I have red blue and black right now and some fat black markers

I did vinyl cutting for 5 years. I'm an expert in vectors for plotting. Let me know if you need help

wow I can really use some training ^_^ I'm currently using inkscape to convert everything to a .dxf and using DWG TrueView to plot them and I have little to no knowledge of vectors

Bad ass! These things are *really* cool!

From my experience, it might be possible to import an Illustrator file into the CAD program. Simple Illustrator files, perhaps a really early version of Illustrator, but still! It'll make vector drawing that much easier.

inkscape does really well with importing into a cad! It's just a matter of learning the software :P

btw I'd love to make tons of bunnywares stickers for ya all vinyl is super cheep
