moving today. feeling nervous, sad, insecure, doubtful, scared, but, most importantly, excited for all of it. this will be good. making it happen on my terms.

what little i have left here i'm going to miss terribly but if i don't do it now i'll never be able to.

i put in my notice yesterday. i'm moving mid-august.

New plan-ish:

• See if I can go to work late on Wednesday so I can participate in the Marquette online open house, if the god damn login page will work
• Call Uncle Billy this week and see if he still wants a roommate
• Call Manpower/any other decent looking temp agency
• Decide what I really need to move with me
• Move

Been quite a while since I did a proper update.

Um, I went to Florida about a month ago for my cousin Paul's wedding with Mom, Dad, Adam and Jessica. It was at St. Pete Beach and we were there for three nights. Totally great. Trying to remember what all I've been up to lately. Been to Boone a few times. Kale graduated! Did I already write about that? I don't think so. I went up for that and hung out and celebrated. I've been up a few times since then for Kale to fix my computer and then again last night to pick it up.

ok. giving up on myself in one aspect. i'm trying very hard to be proactive, make things happen for myself and i just can't. Or won't? I had a blast this weekend. Amanda made a surprise visit home Thursday to go to thirsty Thursday at the Crawdad's game with Josh and I. I blew out of work early, visited one of my students at work for a snack the picked up Amanda. Had a few minutes of hilarious chit chat with her parents.
