YOUR TUMBLR JUST BROKE MY BRAIN.

This is all your fault, Susannah. It's your fault that, last night at dinner when my brother said he'd be seeing The Avengers this afternoon, I actually squeed out loud and kept repeating how excited I was for him.

I haven't had a fandom since my 20s. THIS IS NOT GOING TO END WELL FOR ME.

Oh good - I'm totally snooping your memories and bookmarks because I'm feeling similarly about the shipping.

ETA: I generally have trouble with slashing characters who are het in canon, particularly when it ignores/blows off/blows up stated canon pairings, but I don't mind introducing a little - flexibility into the equation. For example - Bruce and Tony were adorable as science BFFs but I'd prefer to see Bruce/Tony/Pepper as opposed to Bruce/Tony with a side of Tony's not really with Pepper.

I tried Twitter and never got it. I think it would be better if I were doing it on an iPhone. If I had an iPhone.

But Tumblr looks pretty.

So is Tumblr a photo blog, basically? You dump photos and short bits of text and quotes and movies and such, with little commentary, just sharing the pretty? And can you subscribe to other people? And repost what they post?

Seriously, I feel old. I have looked at the Tumblr site and still come away with these questions. :)

That is basically exactly what Tumblr is. It's just that the interface is not the greatest so it took me a while to figure out ropes. I'm still not particularly adept, but I mostly just reblog other people's stuff so it's fine. Eventually I'll probably start posting more of my own thoughts and creations, but not yet.

I'm going to follow you over on Tumblr.. I'm spectrum82! :) I post a lot of Hawaii Five-0 so if you don't mind seeing that all over your dash feel free to follow me back. It took me a while to get the hang of everything over there but once I did I easily became obsessed :D

I have followed back! I don't watch H50 anymore, but I don't at all mind looking at the pretty pictures. Tumblr is totally addictive. So many pretty things to look at.

I don't get Tumblr, so it might be a while before I'll come over there...if that ever happens, I'll definitely find you there (or, you know, ask you again).

Indulge in your new fandom, as long as you don't forget where your focus has to be when the next heist starts ;).

I still haven't seen the movie, so I have no clue what everybody is talking about...and I most definitely do not have time for another fandom, I just don't.

It took me a long time to get Tumblr, too. But now I'm totally addicted and it's all pretty pictures all the time. Don't worry, though. Most of my avengers_land team is made up of people from leverageland (including mizzy2k and sourpony and two of our very own Team Hitter mods) and there's no way they're going to let me slack off when the next heist starts!
