a glimpse into my childhood...

First of all, I've been going back and forth with this guy about a job. It's a recruiting company, and I applied for a couple different jobs through them. He emailed me for more detailed info on my last job and I wrote him back. Today I got an email saying that I have been chosen to move forward in the recruiting process. But now I have to take ( Read more... )

Owww...these are so adorable.
I love how you drew in little pictures even when you are either doing math or spelling.
And you drew all those bells, too!

Good luck with the test, dear.
My math is so terrible, I know I will fail if I tried it myself. lol
But I'm sure you'll do fine. *hugs*

Thanks! I couldn't resist sharing some of these. It's so cool looking at this book, knowing that I did it all with my own little six-year-old hands! :D

Math is my downfall. Basic math is fine and I like word problems, but there's gonna be algebra and geometry, too. Wtf, it's an office job for crying out loud. I just got through with school, now I have to do it again? LOL! I don't want to blow it off, though. Ya never know, it might end up being a decent job.

That sounds like a seriously intense screening process indeed, wow.

And omg, so weird because just this morning my mom came across one of my notebooks from the first grade... I should actually scan some stuff in some time too cause this stuff always is good for a laugh.

The 'I love you, Jesus' one really made me laugh. Those are some boots Mary's rocking. (also, is that uh... Jesus on the ground? lol)

Unfortunately Jesus never taught me how to say "No". LOL!

LMAO I thought that was supposed to be really high on Jesus' list? I thought he was supposed to teach the yougn oens to say no to everything? ;)

I know, right? It's an administrative position, not a job as a teacher or something. :/

Awww, really? What a coincidence! I'd love to see yours!

Hahaha, yeah I think it's baby Jesus but it appears that his little bed is exploding from firecrackers or something. And Mary looks rather amused. She's probably the culprit! I always was an unusual little kid....

I know! I have no idea what he was teaching me to say "YES" to. Apparently it was all the bad stuff. You see what happens to impressionable young minds when exposed to catholic school?

And OT but since you taught me about ZOMG.... what's the difference between this: O_O and this: o_O. Is the first one shocked and the second one an eye roll? Cause I totally wanted to do an eye roll and I don't know any emoti-thingies for that. I've always wondered about the o_O thing.... (no really, I'm not still in junior high school I swear! :P)

I took some pics cause they're too big to scan some of them and omg... lol. There were a few good laughs in there (omg, in one of my sister's school journals it says something about getting someone a pouch that goes around their WASTE. Oh, I lol-ed)

LOL It seriously does. I initially mistook it for a porcupine or something. (I got pics of some of my drawings, they're hilariously awful). And tsk, tsk, Mary. *shakes head at her*

Well clearly his oversight is my gaaaain here. *wriggles eyebrows at you*

I could be wrong but I always thought it was more that O.O is shocked/wide-eyed and o.O was a more skeptical wtf?! type face. I have no idea how you do an eyeroll... clearly I am of no use there. LOL

I'm sitting here cackling like an idiot and just realized my window is open and the neighbors are outside. :P They probably think I'm an idiot.

OMG you mean a FANNY-PACK? Those things should've been outlawed. I really want to see your drawings, I'm sure they are adorable!!

Well clearly his oversight is my gaaaain here. Yep, you can thank good ole Jesus for my depravity. ;) Ya know, there's a reason why catholic school girl uniforms are seen by some as being a turn-on. (ummmm, not that 6-year-olds in those uniforms are sexy, but I know you get what I'm saying. Once again I've wandered from the original topic ( ... )

Thanks! Mary's body is quite realistic, isn't it? :P
Maybe I should send the guy these samples to show him how smart I am!

LOL loved it.....So Jezus is helping to say yes....yes to what...religion, sex, drugs and rock and roll....

I kept all the stuff the kids made....and one of this days I will pass it on to them, after having a last glance to it, wondering why time is gone.

Good luck with the screening, but OMG so strict for an administration job...hihihi good point I just got mine without a sample of my handwriting...

He helps me say yes to all the naughty things in life. ;)

It's great to save things like that. I'm glad my dad thought to send it to me when he did.

Thanks! I guess the company is really picky about who they select, since their reputation is at stake.

Wow, you sure have to go thru a lot, but think positive and do it all and hopefully it will pay off.

I hope you don't go to any interview with "dir on your shirt" tho ;) LOL

Aww, baby hairy-caterpillar Jebus. Perhaps Mary has on a new uplifting bra that kind of went a wit haywy.

Best is the jingle belts !!! HAHA..I bet you sang that also !

It's good that I went to school recently so at least I've had some practice!

Hahaha, dir.... man that must've been a bad day for me. Maybe I had a hangover LOL! And if a bra could do that it'd have to be reallllly uncomfortable. :P

Jingle belt, jingle belt, jingle belt rock..... :D
