I listened to the first cd. I don't know what to say. It's .... different. That's not a bad thing, but I'm really, really surprised by just how different it is. I think what surprises me is how diverse it is - much more so than any of their other albums. Diverse is good, but it doesn't really flow for me. I can't make a connection between the songs

So,I'm back from work now:)
Like I wrote before, I'm glad you like the album and I'm sure you'll like it even more after listening more to it. I have to agree with Schlaggy, I'm overwhelmed by every song, too.
A few days ago, "Fruehling in Paris" was my fav song; now I think I'm absolutely in love with "Pussy":))) Maybe it will change the next days again, who knows? :)
What I really LOVE about the new stuff is that Till sings better than ever. It was the first thing I realized after listening the first time. I'm amazed by his voice, especially in "FIP".

Hey baby! I hope you had a nice day at work. :)

I do like it, very much. Today when I listened to it in the car (3rd listen) I was completely overwhelmed! It's just amazing and beautiful. I think my favorite songs will change day by day too. :P It's hard to choose.... I'm def going with Mehr as my #1 right now. That was the one that made me go "WOWWWWW!!" It's just fucking fabulous, beginning to end!!
FIP has totally grown on me too. After the little 30 sec clip I thought I'd love it and I'm glad it's grown on me already. :) And of course, Roter Sand - especially the orchestral version - makes me squeal with delight and cry a little bit. Ahhhh, there's a lot of good stuff on this cd. Wiener Blut is pretty awesome too. Terrifying and beautiful at the same time.

And of course, Pussy is a highlight! I didn't think I was gonna love that because of all the stupid hype, but I just CANNOT listen to it without doing a little dance. :P I adore Till's voice in that one!

Okay, I'll stop now. :P I'm just so in love....

Oh and god, I love that part in Waidmanns Heil where he sings "Auf dem Lande, auf dem Meer, lauert das Verderben..."

And Ich Tu' Dir Weh is totally in my key -- I belted it in the car this morning. It totally left me giggling and high.
