What is it that Helen is looking for?
I'm bored, and decided to come up with what it is I'm looking for in a potential partner.
1) Must want kids at some point or another, whether adopted or "natural"
2) Must not have a current drug problem.
3) Must be able to "control" their temper. IE no hitting. IF there is to be yelling, it needs to be kept to a minimum.
4) Must have same views on cheating as I do.
5) Must not be cruel or condescending toward myself or others. Sarcasm is fine to an extent, but treating others like a piece of dirt is something I refuse to tolerate.
6) Must be kind to animals (This is something I'll explain at another time)
7) Must have a sense of humor and the ability to be both playful at times and serious when need be.
8) Must be able to tell me the truth and be open about things
9) SHOULD want to be around me.
10) SHOULD be supportive/ allow me to be supportive.
11) SHOULD be a physical person with me. IE everything from hand holding to snuggling to sex, to just random displays of affection. It doesn't have to be often, and doesn't have to be in public.
12) SHOULD be someone I can hold a conversation with, or comfortable silence with.
13) SHOULD have some sort of curiousity or passion about them. I don't care what you're passionate about, could range from gaming to photography to motorcycles, as long as you've got some interests of your own, preferibly something you want to share or teach me about.
14) SHOULD be someone I can trust/ and someone who can trust me.
15) SHOULD love to share or learn things with me. It's fun to experience new things together.
16) SHOULD be fairly sexual, with me. It doesn't need to be right away or within a set time frame, but it goes back to the physical touch thing.
17) SHOULD be someone I'm comfortable around/ vise versa. And someone I can talk to/ vise versa.
18) SHOULD be someone who can be upfront/straight with me about things, even if it's telling me I'm being a child or going too far with something. I don't need a boss or a daddy figure, but I do need someone who will... Call me on my shit I guess.
19) SHOULD be someone who wants to make me feel better when I'm sad/ will allow me to try to make them feel better when they are down.
20) Hopefully does little things/ appreciates the little things I do.
21) Hopefully is a bit bizarre/ zany.
22) Hopefully doesn't have much in the way of baggage.
23) Hopefully doesn't still have abnormal attachments to any of their ex girlfriends or loves.
24) Hopefully cares about me/ allows me to care about them.
25) Hopefully understands that sometimes I just need/want to be held... And allows me to do that for them as well.
26) Hopefully does not desire sex everytime we fool around. Sex is fantastic, I love it to death, but just being intimate/ snugggling/ kissing is great too. It's nice when things don't always end up the same way.
27) Hopefully isn't too cocky.
