[Oneshot] A Fine Day
It started with a very find day. Ueda was smiling to himself, happy that he was early today. Aside that, their choreographer did not scold any of them since all of them master their dance quite easily. Then, their schedule interview went smoothly too. All in all, it’s a very fine day for Ueda Tatsuya. That is until a certain sexy Osaka man grace himself to KAT TUN dressing room.

“We’re going out to eat. You want to follow us, Tat-chan.” Asked Kame to Ueda. “No, I think I’ll stay here. I’m still quite full from breakfast.” Ueda said, smiling to Kame. “Ok, if you want anything just text us.” Kame said before following his fellow band mate out.
Ueda then took one of the magazines on Jin place to read. 5 minute later, Jin came back.
“What’s wrong Jin?”Asked Ueda when he saw Jin. “Oh, nothing Tat-chan, just forgetting my jacket. Where did I put it?” Mumbled Jin to himself while searching for his jacket. “Ah, there it is. How did it get there?” Asked Jin to himself, walking toward the piles of costumes where it seems that his jacket resides.
While Jin searching for his jacket, Ryo walks into the KAT TUN room followed closely behind him is Yamapi. Apparently Yamapi was searching for Jin.
“Oi fish lip, what are you doing here all alone. Does your band mate find you not worth their time?” Said Ryo, smirking while walking towards Ueda. Ueda just rolled his eyes, quite use to Ryo picking on him.
“Shut up. And for your information, I choose not to follow them.” Answer Ueda, getting back to read the magazines.
“Yeah right, we all know that nobody would find you worth their time. You just a nuisance to them. Unlike me, I’m after all a sexy Osaka man, every one wants to be with me” Ueda was seething with anger when he heard what Ryo said. One thing he knows about his friends is that they care for him.
“Shut up Nishikido. Go away, go back to your room. This is KAT TUN dressing room not NEWS.” Said Ueda, standing up.
“Why should I? Because I speak the truth? That no one find you worth their time? That no one loves you? That you the most worthless in Johnny’s, that nobody wants to think about you?” Taunts Ryo.
Ueda just can’t take it anymore. Every words that was spoke to him pierce deep inside his heart. It didn’t help that he secretly loves Ryo all this time. Without any spoken words, Ueda ran passed both Ryo and Yamapi.

“That was harsh Ryo. You shouldn’t say that to him.” Yamapi said to Ryo, standing in front of him.
“But it’s the truth wasn’t it. I mean, I have you and we’re best friend and we do love each other and he got no one. No one wants to be with him” Ryo said with uncaring tones although guilt has makes its way inside his heart.
Yamapi sigh. Time to face the truth, he said to himself. “I love u, Ryo. I will always love you. But I'm not the one for you. Whenever i look into your eyes, i see him. He is the only one in your heart, in your mind. And i know that i don’t stand a chance. That is why; i want you to be true to yourself. I want you to be happy. Go to him, Ryo. You need him and he needs you.”
“But…but…I..” Ryo was speechless. He hadn’t thought that Yamapi’s feel this deep towards him.
“Go Ryo, be happy. Don’t make me regret my decision.” Yamapi said while pushing Ryo to the door. Ryo cast one last look to Yamapi before turning to run toward the direction he was shoved.
Yamapi sigh again, watching the love of his live running towards his road to happiness. “You’re a good person, Pi. A really great friend.” Jin said, stepping out from his hiding place. Yamapi startled.
“Jin, what are you doing here? Weren’t you supposed to be out with Kame and the rest of KAT TUN?” Yamapi said, surprised to see his best friend in the same room with him.
“Well…yeah. I was but I kinda forgot my jacket and then I heard you guys came in so I hid myself behind those costumes. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop.” Jin said in embarrassment.
“It’s ok Jin. I just wish it’s not this hurt to let go. I really love him but if letting go mean for him to be happy then I guess I just have to accept it.”
“Come Pi, come eat with us. It’ll cheer you up. I’ll help you.” Jin put his hand around Yamapi shoulder as a mean to console him. He loves Yamapi like a brother and can’t bear to see a sad expression on Yamapi’s face.
“Thanks Jin, you’re a pal.” Yamapi said to Jin, smiling a bit.
“Hey, that’s what best friend for. You can always count on me.” With that, Jin leads Yamapi out of the room.
Meanwhile, Ryo began searching franticly for Ueda. He knows he step out of line today but sometimes his mouth works faster than bullet train. Usually after he has spoken those cruel words that he aware what he had said. But his pride prevents him to apologize to Ueda. It doesn’t matter, he said to himself. He knows I didn’t mean it, Ryo try to convince his self.
“Eh, Ryo-senpai…Where are you going?” Asked Shoon who is suddenly appeared.
“Shoon, have you seen Ueda anywhere?” “Ueda-senpai…..Oh I thought I saw him running to the rooftop. Why? Did something happen?”Shoon asked again when he hadn’t received any answer from Ryo.
“Nothing” Mumbled Ryo, and then he dashed to the rooftop. “Wait..senpai….”Shoon just shook his head thinking about his weird senpai.
When he reaches at the rooftop of the building, he heard a sob. It’s enough to break his heart, listening to his hime crying his heart out.
“Why? Why are you so cruel? Why am I always the one you pick on? Am I really that worthless in your eyes? Why, Ryo, why?” Ueda continued sobbing. “Why does it hurt so much? Why my heart can’t stop loving you even though you’re so cruel to me? I guess it’s true, then. I am really pathetic, useless human being who doesn’t deserve to be love.”
“No, that is not true.” Ueda looked up to see who has spoken to him. When he sees Ryo, he immediately stand up, ready to run away from Ryo.
“Don’t go, hime”
“Why? So that you can mock me again? Well, I’m not going to let you have all the pleasure.” Ueda said while trying to get away but Ryo has blocked the way out.
“No, I want to apologize. I know I was wrong to say those words to you.”
“Is this a joke? You never apologize. You just want to play with me, aren’t you?”
“No, I’m not. I truly am sorry for what I said earlier, I didn’t mean that. And also for all those years that I taunt you. I never meant it.”
“Yeah right, why should I believe you? You hate me. Of course you mean all those things you said to me. Beside you’re right. I am worthless. No one wants to be with a worthless guy like me.”
“No, don’t say that hime. That’s not true. I don’t hate you. I never hate you. At first I find you irritating, what with your Gackt wanna be get up, and then it became a habit to insult you but I never ever hate you. Never.”
Ueda still did not know whether to trust Ryo words or not. After all those years of insult, it hard for him to believe that Ryo is sincere. But the look that Ryo currently giving him started to melt the doubt that built around his heart.
“Please hime, forgive me. Stop crying because of me, I can’t bear to see you crying like that again. It broke my heart to see that I’m the source of you sadness. I really..really am sorry. I can only hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me because I love you, and I don’t want to see you so sad.”
Ueda startled to hear a sudden confession from Ryo. “Whaat…You..you..love me” Ueda stuttered.
“Yes, I love you. I only said all those things to hide my feeling from you but I done with hiding. From now on I want to be true to myself. And that is to let you know that I love you with all my heart.”
Ueda was speechless. Never in a million year that he thought that Ryo will love him. Suddenly his heart soars with happiness. Today is definitely the best day he ever had.
“And I know that it maybe hard for you to believe but I really do love you. And it’s ok if you don’t love me back, I can accept to be just friends with you but I don’t want to see you cry again and I don’t want we to be enemies and..” While Ryo was ranting, Ueda suddenly kiss him. At first Ryo was shocked but then he started to respond with all he had. With all the passion and tension that had built since he discovered his love for his hime.
“Does that mean you love me too?” Asked Ryo, grinning like mad. Ueda just smiled serenely to him. Such smile that make his face lovelier than ever. Slowly, Ryo started to kiss Ueda again and they stay that way until both of them run out of air.
