Oh, what are your favorite weird and wacky parts of the Star Wars EU? There's a snarking of the Jedi Prince series that I love to go back and read every now and again.
I should have said this in my comment, but I haven't read the EU in YEARS. I don't know if there are any weird and wacky parts that I actually liked and remember. The very first EU book I read was The Crystal Star, which is one of the earlier books and definitely has some things that no other book actually acknowledges, so it's one of the books that just "exists" but that's about it.
o.O I don't remember a Jedi Prince series...the only thing I remember about a Jedi Prince is Lost City of the Jedi, which is from this trilogy, but I definitely wouldn't count it as canon, even before they did what they did with the EU. In these books, they gave Han and Chewie a bachelor pad in Cloud City, gave Palpatine a grandson named Ken (which I suppose is TECHNICALLY still part of the EU), and had Han and Leia elope instead of what ACTUALLY happened in Courtship of Princess Leia.

Since I just got into Gilmore girls this year X33
One of the wonderful things about being so young despite having an adult child was that Lorelei was able to fool around with Luke like she was a teenager in high school. One of her favorite things to do with Luke was watch a movie with him while Rory was out doing whatever she did, and at some point or another it would lead to pretty intense makeouts.
Of course, it was odd tonight they were making out and fooling around to a Disney movie. But of course Lorelei was in love and it didn't matter.
So there they were, on the couch. Luke was on top of her, hands were roaming her body. Their lips were colliding, to the cheesiest song possible. She was litterally floating that she didn't notice the door opening.
"WHAT THE HELL MOM!" A voice shrieked. It was Rory. Luke litterally jumped rolling onto the floor as Lorelei sat up abruptly. "I mean Frozen? I mean if you are going to make out a Corny movie make out to Star Wars or something!"
"Frozen is romantic too!" Lorelei cried back. Luke
