This is going to sound stupid, but I'm interested.
I need at least one southern English person to reply, and one northern/midlandish person to reply; how would you pronounce the word Derwenthaugh? I want to know if it's a regional variation, or if my family's just stupid.
If you're not English, then reply anyway. It could be interesting.

anywasys i'd pronouce it as:

der-went-horr

:S god knows what that word is though!! haha
