When we got to the fishing area we waited for about 20 minuets for the many boats that were working the net to get into position. The first boat to pull up was the fisherman's partner's boat.
While that was happening the net was being drawn closer and closer to the fish pen. Then the fish pen was disassembled and started to be pulled up onto the ship.
They then laid a green cloth down on the deck of our boat and started pouring water on it. This is where they where going to lay the catch when they finally brought it on board.
We pulled up to the fish pen. And we got to the pen the two boats that had been dragging the net tethered up to the back of our boat. In this picture you can see 2 out of the 3 gas motors driving the boat.
There was another boat on the opposite side of the fish pen and together we pull the net up on to the boats drawing the fish closer to the surface.
