Did I mention Spring Training games start today? It's so nice to have baseball again. I've missed it so much.

I'm painting the living room. I got the primer and one coat done yesterday, but it wasn't enough so I had to go buy more paint. It's looking very cool.

It's called Velvety Merlot, so it's pretty much dark wine colored. I have it all over my hands so it looks like I have dried blood all over myself. Heh...

i want a picture! can't imagine that color in your living room--which wall (s)? does it pick up the color from the girls' dresses/area rug? we just finished painting our bedroom today--what misery trying to get the "leather" look!

i tried to match it pretty closely to the rug. i think it looks incredible. of course, i still need to do at least one more coat. so the leather thing was tough? a friend of mine has been telling me how easy it was. hmmm.....
