I remember when I first heard MMMBop I was sitting in my room writing a letter to a friend, and I turned the radio on to see what was on and when it came on I stared at it with this perplexed look on my face, but I was hooked, and to be honest with you,I still sing it from time to time.

you were definitely my guilty pleasure, and I have no problem admitting it.

I never said I modelled my music after yours, the song is catchy and that is all there is to it, I do still hear it sometimes and sing to it, is that a crime?

the first time i heard mmmbop was on mtv. i was watching the video going "is that a girl or a guy"? and honestly, with the voice and the pretty blond hair, i couldn't figure it out. it took awhile. but i never minded.

I am not sure exactly when MMMBop was first released over there, but here in France it was an instant success, and it's funny how we all become so obsessed with something one day and ready to label it as a "has been" the next.As long as you still are playing music and doing what you love to do,it wont matter if people still view you as that one 15 year old from the past, you are still yourself, and are loved by those that truly like you. That is really all that matters.
