Yeah, this goes back to the thought that the land is for the FAMILY to dwell on. So if they leave, the thinking is that if or when they come back, there will always be a place for them and to raise their future generations. Eleanor apparently influenced others to think that if you go away, you cannot come back b/c then "title" passes on to someone else, which is why the comment of "business" was mentioned by Shelly per her step-mother Eleanor.
But have they (Eleanor, et al.) ignored what the cousin of Irwin had to say and to whom the land was for and whom it has been going generation after generation? I guess not.
