A friend of mine had that problem and she got some of those potty-training pads from the pet store and put them down where the "overshoot" was landing. The pads also helped to keep a bit of the kitty litter from being tracked around. Easy clean up too-- just roll 'em up, toss 'em in the trash, and put down a clean one. She says it's a lot easier that mopping and or accidentally stepping in it!
