We had some kitty drama yesterday. I woke up early to exercise, fed the cats, and Skye (see userpic, one of my sister's kitties) was acting funny. He would start to eat and then shake his head, lick his lips and then his lower jaw would kind of ... vibrate? I picked him up to have a look and saw some pinkish stuff on his chin and one of his paws

At my house on Lake Woodard Spunky could put his paws under the bedroom doors & push them up & they would unlatch. I under if that is happening when they are reaching under trying to get at the food.

Yeah, Tigger has torn a hole through a bag of cat food that was on the floor in the pantry near the door, from under the door. I suspect that is how they "discovered" that it could be opened without using the handle. We had never noticed it ourselves, since it SEEMS to latch.
