Booster seats (for the car)

So Kaylie is almost too big for her infant seat. I've got to figure out what to put her into next. We have Jack in a Britax Marathon. So I could give the Marathon to Kaylie (and hope it doesn't take up too much room rear facing) and get a booster seat with 5 point harness for Jack (one of those ones that are convertible where you can take the back ( Read more... )

Unless Jack is waaaay bigger than Holden, he's not big enough for a booster yet so I'd go the 2nd Marathon way. Or if you want to make it a little cheaper get a Triumph.

hi - sal03 here. I am trying desperately to figure out LJ so I thought I would practice with you :) Dylan has the Marathon and we got a Roundabout for Katie. We figure she will be in it for a WHILE. then she will move up to the marathon and dylan to a booster. going to explore LJ more. I wonder if I can change my username. No one knows me as Rebecca, they know me as Sal03!

Hi Sal!
Funnny, I feel weird calling you Rebecca. :) But I did just look at the new April babies thread today and noticed that your name was Rebecca. Thanks for the thought on the carseat. I'll have to give it some more thought. A roundabout may work, but Kaylie's so big already and long torsos run in the family, so the kids may outgrow the torso factor on the carseat sooner than the weight and height. But it would be nice to have a smaller seat rearfacing than that Marathon so we don't have to push the front seats forward too far.

I'm finally starting to get the gist of LJ. I like that I can kind of keep tabs on all the people that I'm interested in or know from WC. I like CC, but there are so many moms in our April thread that I can't keep up with all of it and can't keep it all straight.

I love the new pics of Katie and Dylan in the stroller. Do both kids have blue eyes? Does everyone say how much they look alike? Everyone thinks Jack and Kaylie could be twins (if they weren't 2 years apart!).
