A Lazy Afternoon, In Two Steps

After heading to the Intelligentsia opening at Sunset Junction, I came home, made two quarts of raspberry-blackberry jam, and cupped 13 different varieties of coffee (a mix of Intelligentsia, Victrola, Stumptown, Groundworks, and Monmouth) and wrote 7 pages worth of tasting notes

"PCH" -- no "the," i guess...i usually say "the PCH" myself, unlesss it's in teh context of "heading towards PCH"

Lovely! I always went hiking with my dad near Point Mugu out there and think it's probably one of the main reasons I love having grown up in LA.

And seriously, the hikes you can get in LA are amazing; it's something people really don't realize about the place.

No, my favorite was always La Jolla canyon trail, which is right next to Sycamore. I think I have been on Sycamore once too and really liked it as well.

I needed a new handle to celebrated my newly acquired maturity--the kind that comes with being sober & at home working on stuff that no one else care about all the time, celibate except for about a week every two months, and otherwise supremely dull. I feel like a sixty year-old, only much happier than I probably should be.
