I'm sitting here adding bibliographical details to some primary sources I'm working through -- British newspapers from 1851 detailing the opening of the Great Exhibition. It's a cool 70 outside, clear skies, with Feist's "1, 2, 3, 4" on heavy rotation in the background of my mind; it's been in my head since Saturday and doesn't seem to be leaving

And I should be around more often now that I've got Claudia here. Poor Maude bit the dust some time ago and I've been trying to replace her since.

And now you've gotten that in my head. Well, fuck. That's just what I needed when writing a paper on transnational labor migration (which I don't care about at all - this is for the obnoxious professor). Now all I want to do is float around in whimsy. Crud.

Ouch. How'd you end up with a topic like that? I'm presuming its transnational labor migration in one of the Gulf states, n'est-ce pas?

And I mean, you still can float around in whimsy....just imagine the paper as a Bollywood musical number :-).
