It's raining outside. My 56-page thesis has been graded and in the history office. I just sent out my 24-page paper on the cultural historiography of the cafe-au-lait to my other professor. Outside of the upper-division version of the AP European History exam tomorrow, my work here is done until mid-January. I leave town either Friday or Saturday, ( Read more... )

I know -- its really relieving to have this semester over. Although that said, my thesis came back with an A on it, so I should have license to celebrate further, hehe.

(Then again, whoops, $200 on champagne, must not do again....even if its sooooo tasty.)

whatever, cristal was $300 a bottle (and we had two, major woops) but it was so worth it because we had so much fun. every now and then you just have to go a little crazy and spoil yourself with something extravagant.

Seriously, 300 a bottle? Shit, that's crazy. It's probably corkage fees; the three bottles of Bollinger were 140 in total, but it was the Laurent-Parrier that tacked on the additional 60. It's sad, though, because it made me realize just how much me lurrrve champagne...
