I'm ending a three week stint in LA, which has been revitalizing. It's been a rush of running around -- I haven't done much in the way of lazing about, save to watch Jaime at Home -- and in the best ways possible. Welcome back to Berkley!

And living within the social purview of parents (not quite sure what that means, but it looks good) can be pretty scary. I did it for five years in Asia and it was good in it's way, but not for me. Mild depression doesn't even start to cover the feelings engendered simply by thinking about going home again..

good luck with the end of the education process - and the applications!
