I was looking at books to recommend to my cousin, and figured it wouldn't hurt to make up a list for future reference. Everyone, please comment! What have I left out?
It was good enough. It doesn't have enough information about interventions and the birth process to be the ONLY pregnancy book someone reads, but it could be very useful with getting people in touch with what they really want and giving them the courage to go get it. I think you'd have to take the class to get the full benefit, but it will help with that decision. I think it would be especially useful for people with fears, or with a previous bad experience.
Ooh! Ooh! What about "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding"? I liked it a bunch and found it very helpful and encouraging with all the problems I had nursing DAT. It's a classic.

And here's a new book: Breastfeeding Facts for Fathers by Michels. That's a new angle. :)
