New computer is all set up! It's pretty nice to have 8GB of RAM at my disposal. Photoshop runs like a dreeeam, oh man.
Er, anyway. Here's one of those embarrassing 2009 summary of art memes:
...hrm. Well. Most of the stuff I've drawn since June has been work-related (or things I'm not entirely comfortable posting), which means no sharing. At least I can see some progress in my sketchbooks. I don't know. I suppose I'm sort of satisfied. I need to work harder, though.
If nothing else, I'm somewhat more comfortable with my style being sort of malleable and adaptable. Trying out new styles keeps things interesting, right? Right.
Some Art Goals
• Work on mini-comics, a copybook of sketches, doujinshi
• Revamp site(s)
• Be brave; don't be so fretful
• DRAW MOAR, TRY HARDER, FAITO, etc.
Gonna try to be less of a wuss an internet recluse and post more/be more active in communities, in the coming year. ( '^')b
2009 was, uh, hm. It was something. I'm looking forward to 2010. First, I'm-a make a cup of tea, find a comfortable place to chill, and break in this new sketchbook...
