i really want to change my life...i am inspired right now...inspired by those around me who live theyre life shamelessly for God. people who would give it all up for jesus... i really appreciate those people...the ones who arent fake christians the ones who dont go to church cry holy and then get drunk the next night...i bought a new bible today

God is incredible. I understand exactly how you feel. it is so easy to backslide when we're surrounded by the world, and worldy people, and it's really hard to get out of that rut. you are such an encouragement. God is right there with you, and I know he's going to bless you in ways you can't even imagine. a prayer group would be really rad, I haven't had one of those in a while, and I miss it. you are definitely in my prayers jordan.

Mindlessly devoting yourself to a way of thinking has historically show itself to be a horrible way of living. Human society has witnessed its most horrific moments due to this exact way of thinking you describe. National Socialism and Italian Fascism are both very similar in thought to what you just described. Sometimes many ardent christians display a comeplete lack of rational thinking in turn for a strong will and commitment to an idea

sometimes people (we all) feel offending by things that we really shouldn't be. some people like to liken a belief in loving others to a belief in nazism. it is "all the same" to some people, but those people really don't know what Jesus is about. Jesus isn't about blind faith or devoting your life to a political/social school of thought. Jesus is about salvation, love, and hope, and sometimes that is too much for some people. it's hard for people to accept that no matter what they do, they can't change the facts. we all die. but with Christ, it's life everlasting, and i have faith in that through many experiences, trials, and God's grace. it is a rad thing to want to give our lives to Him. it's the very least we could do.

all it comes down to is that it is my belief and if you really want to talk about it lets talk about it un-anonomously...im not ashamed of my views but by posting anonomously that shows that you are ashamed of your views.(or rather you dont fully believe them).i wont let you get me down...attack me all you want say anything you would like...but i will stand firm in my love for Christ.
