no, seriously... i really want to know. i thought the acting was awesome, the directing was fantastic... but the story was stupid.

I like children's stories. I think the problem with this movie is that you go in expecting M. Night's typical awesome twisty thriller, and you get a pretty cool children's story. So it's dissappointing in that respect, but I liked it. I also liked the concept of completely mundane people in a mundane setting can be used for something completely awesome and other-worldly.

I found the half-buff guy completely unecessary and creepy. I mean, what the crap is that?!
