Why I've been away and what my mum thinks of MCR fans
It seems like ages since I last logged into LJ. I really think I was starting to get withdrawal symptoms!

I am a parking goddess!!
As usual, by the time I came home tonight, most of the parking spaces in my street had already been taken. I had a choice of a really tight spot outside the house next door, or park about 7 doors away and trek to the house carrying a child under one arm and my shopping under the other. I thought I'd go for the one closest to home.

Owen has been poorly since saturday, he has the dreaded lurgy and has been throwing up more or less for the past 3 days. I think today must be the end of it because he satrted perking up this afternoon but this morning all he did was sleep on my lap. OK, now I've posted a happy entry, it's time for my sad one. My friend had a baby girl last Monday afternoon. She was eight weeks premature and only weighed 3lb14oz. but she rallied, she didn't even need to be ventilated when she was born ( Read more... ) -

Well, the big day finally dawned, felt like I'd been counting down to it forever. (well, actually since before christmas, which to me IS forever) . So, a couple of months back my right arm started to hurt. felt as though I'd pulled something but it just hasn't got any better. Went to the doctor about something unrelated and mentioned it only to have the quack tell me to buy some anti inflammatory cream and that that would fix it. It didn't. Honestly, I've only had a live journal for a few months, I was going to be so good with it. It was going to be just like my diary, only online. Well, that turned out well didn't it. just like every diary I've ever owned/started. I do great for a few weeks and then I lapse. Big time. just checked it now and my last entry was over 3 weeks ago! I'm slightly concerned that I'm almost jumping about with excitement. What in the name of Pete am I going to be like when the big day dawns? Probably hyperventilate in the car park and miss the whole fucking thing.....
