There is nothing like a good workout to make me realize that I am no where near the fit self that I used to be. In the meantime, however, it becomes evident that working out has one purpose: to make myself fit enough to get through the workout. It is so difficult to concentrate on work when you are on the verge of giving up. I need to motivate myself and unlike some people who use failure as fuel, I cannot bring myself to do so.
