I used to say to-mah-toe up until 3rd grade, when kids started making fun of me for it. Unfortunately, I didn't know then that it's cool to be different.

I'm really glad I read that whole thing, because I've been reading a lot of medical journals on malaria (and I actually got scared for a minute when you said you were working outside so much but then I realized that New Zealand is basically perfect so I didn't have to worry) and it would have been really easy and typical of me to just be kind of like, ah he wrote too much, I'll skim it. But I didn't because hearing everything about you is incredible and I'm so, so excited and proud and jealous and amazed by what you're doing. Evan had said you were having a hard time at first, and maybe you still are?, but it definately sounds like you're getting better. I'm glad you got Peter Pan because I wasn't sure that it would work :-). So things here have been kind of rough for me. You would tell me I'm taking everything too seriously, and I probably really am, but I don't know how not to at where I am right now. I'm considering transferring, but I'm trying for that not to be the solution because running away never really solves anything

well im really jelous that you get to live like that, with no plans and no cares. it sounds like your really happy which is good but i miss you! when you get back we need to talk. i want to hear all about your trip.
