Ok, once more I am just leaving Narnia, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, The Time Machine et al as a given, you already know I love them and so I shall put one that I have not yet mentioned.
The Rules Of Modern Policing 1973 Edition
This is a tie-in book for the series Life On Mars, a guide for every young policeman of 1973 written by Gene Hunt. If that is not enough reason to explain to you why this is made of pure awesome then you clearly have not yet seen Life On Mars, drop whatever you are doing and do so immediately. I just love the look of the book too, it is aged and has stains on it and being the copy owned by Chris Skelton it has little things he's written in it, pictures and his answers to the quizzes.
This book is just a thing of beauty.
