Long time no update

Wow, I haven't updated since April 6! Well, things are moving along. Unfortunately I have gestational diabetes and will likely be starting insulin very soon. It's a bummer, but I am dealing with it. My body is really sensitive to sugar right now. I am on a special 'diet' and have to watch what I eat very carefully & check my blood sugars throughout

I'm sorry to hear about diabetes! But at least it's kept under check, right?

Pink sounds lovely in the living room, it sounds complete now - esp. with orchids. I'd get some myself but I've already killed one, so I'm wary of them.
You know, the cafe au lait color sounds just lovely. Our color scheme is non-existant, just some variatons on white. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet :)

Thanks Maarit. It's been a huge bummer for me. I have started taking insulin to control it (just once at night). :(

Oh, you're one of those orchid killers are you? ;) They love humidity, so we keep them in the bathroom. The one in the living room is in a shady spot. They just need water once a week and don't move them or let the roots get too wet. I like to water them and then let them drain in the sink sometimes too.

Yay on the pink! I really like it. Our color scheme was just like yours for a long time...white, with white trim, accented by white, with a white background. LOL. It took me awhile to get brave and get some color in my house!
