The morning after! With Latvia

 ((continued from the previous journal))

France woke up with a sleeping Latvia still in his arms.  It was morning. France tried to wake up Latvia by kissing his cheek.

[Makes an unwilling noise and turn away a bit until he realizes that it might be Russia and really, he doesn't want to upset Russia. So he sits up hastily, blinking blearily at his surroundings.]

France was still gently nuzzling Latvia's soft cheek with his nose.

That resulted in a headbutt to the face.

And it hurt. a lot.

O-oh my God, France I'm s-so sorry! [Whimpers and bends over the other nation to study his face, chanting 'I'm sorry' over and over again, small, trembling fingers carefully touching France's cheek.]

"Ow..." France agonized for a second, and then began laughing. "We'll probably be laughing at this in about a few hours."

Luckily there was no bloody nose, but there was a bit of redness around his eyes.
