driving in London is a bad idea anyway, 'cause then you have to pay like 10 pounds "congestion tax" or something.
my parents drove around England during their 30th-anniversary vacation and had a pretty nerve-wracking time of it. walking is a much better option.

have fun in London! send me a postcard! :D

YAY FOR THE SKAP MAKING IT TO LONDON.
Friday I'm going to the one place I've been able to find Strongbow in the US - Philly. Despite that and the presence of a Brit in my life again as of 5:30, I'm insanely jealous and happy for you at the same time.
Enjoy!
(and keep posting or I will hunt you down and poke you to death)

London is amazing. I spent all of fall semester there last year, so if you want any tips, let me know.

The ones you didn't ask for include seeing the Tate Modern, the cabinet war rooms, and taking a trip out of town. Trains in England are beautiful, and the train ride to Edinburgh is just stunning. Cambridge is a beautiful alternative, and Oxford has bookstores like nowhere else in the world. Le sigh. I love London. Oh, and GET YOUR ASS TO THE FUCKING THEATRE. Check out flats off of Swiss Cottage-- try Fairfax Court on Fairfax Road (tube stop jubilee line get off Swiss Cottage, Zone 2, and take exit 5 once there). I lived there last semester, and they are muy nice flats, and the Indian guys who run the 24 hour store below are sooo awesome.
