I get the impression that if I don't continuosly update, my life will be forfeit, as well as my immortal soul, so while I was planning on being good anyway, thanks for the extra incentive guys ;-) At least so far as limited internet access allows ( Read more... )

If you like kareoke.... and it sounds as though you may... then check out ISH (International Student House). They have a full bar and a fun, low-key kareoke each Thursday night. Lots of the people in the London program went there last semester, myself included, and it's a great place to meet people. And sing. Or put your name on the list to sing and run like a scared idiot into the streets of London.

Yeah, like right after I posted this they took all of us to ISH and gave us a tour and set us up to be members. The Karaoke night sounds pretty exciting, as do the £1.50 beers:-)

I was all worried that with the conversion rate, Tony's mom would be a lot more expensive, but it turns out that she gives you a special rate if you have an International Student ID Card. *whew*
