I've never owned a cat in my life. Had dogs, birds, rodents, lizards, horses, cows, chickens, ducks, quail, turtles, etc... but never a cat. B1 seems to be a cat person and since we feel a parental obligation to supply our children with affectionate pets, we let him talk us into a cat
